China Glaze - Pastels and Glitter

*PRESS SAMPLE*

For this post, I used three new shades from China Glaze, two creams and a glitter, namely Spring in My Step, In a Lily Bit and Don't Be a Flake.  First up, the creams:
For this pic, I used three coats of In a Lily Bit on my thumb, middle and pinky fingers and two coats of Spring in My Step on my index and ring fingers.

As always, I've got to be honest, I wasn't overjoyed with these polishes.  If you're not new here, you know that I am not a fan of having to use more than two coats of any polish and In a Lily Bit definitely required three for opacity.  Both polishes were a little challenging to work with and ended up looking a bit patchy. Such a bummer.  I added an accent nail of Don't Be a Flake, as you can see here:
One coat of Don't Be a Flake added to ring finger.

Unfortunately, this hexagonal glitter was also tough to work with.  It took a little dabbing to get the glitter somewhat evenly dispersed, which is a real shame as the colors are so pretty.  Perhaps with a bit more practice, I could get it applied better but it was a bit goopy.

Overall, I have to say, this is not the best I've seen from China Glaze.  While the colors are pretty, I had a frustrating time with application.

*The polishes used in this post were provided to me for my honest review and consideration.
