Making a LA Splash!

I recently discovered the brand LA Splash during an online search and they were kind enough to provide me with some samples to review for you.  This was my first experience with this brand and I'm eager to share my thoughts.  They provided me with five colors: *Sugar Crystal, *Enchantress, *Mystique, *Blue Splash and *Foolish.  Here they are in their unique and pretty bottles.
I began with a base coat of Avon Nail Experts Nutri-Boost Nutri-Plus, then applied two coats of each color (with the exception of Blue Splash but more about that later). Here they are indoors with flash:
and outdoors:
Here are my thoughts on each one:
Sugar Crystal - Sheer but packed with glitter. A bit gritty to the touch but not excessively so. This impressed my husband the most of the five colors.
Enchantress - Thick formula but a nice deep wine-y color with pinkish-red glitter. Sort of a flat, almost matte finish, to my eye, but would probably "pop" more after top coating.
Mystique - Opaque with one coat but similar in formula and finish to Enchantress. I'm partial to blues and greens but this one didn't "wow" me as much as I'd hoped it would.
Blue Splash - Definitely the star for me. Gorgeous, opaque, shiny and beautiful with just ONE coat. The only one of the five that didn't require a second coat and that, in itself, makes it a winner for me. I applied two coats of each of the other four polishes. The formula was smooth and fabulous to apply.
Foolish - Like Blue Splash, a smooth, wonderful formula to apply. Slight vnl remained after two coats but shiny, bright and quite lovely.

So, to sum up, I am thrilled to have had the chance to experience LA Splash and hope to again in the future. I have yet to find these polishes in stores so I'm hoping that will change. Though I'm not in LOVE with all five of these, I'm definitely at least in LIKE with them and I can certainly see Blue Splash and I having a long-term relationship. I think Sugar Crystal might be more impressive layered over another color, especially black. These are definitely worth your time and I look forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences with this brand!
