Today I'd like to share two of the new fall 2011 limited edition NYC New York Color In A NY Minute Nail Color polishes in *Scenestealer Grey and *Underground Purple. I recently received these for review and let me tell you, I'm loving them. I started with a base coat and added two coats of the NYC polishes, using Underground Purple as my accent nail. Here they are indoors with flash:
and outdoors, without flash:
I found the formula SO easy to work with and the brushes were fairly wide, reminiscent of the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure brushes that I've sung the praises of so often in previous posts. Scenestealer Grey has a gunmetal look, though there is definitely a hint of blue mixed in, to my eye. Can you say LOVE? Underground Purple is a winner too, with a hint of shimmer and, like the grey, beautiful opaque coverage in two coats. I found that they dried relatively quickly too, though not too quickly that they were difficult to control in application. I have not yet top coated and the colors are super-shiny already. I truly love these polishes! They retail for $1.99 and became available this month so run, don't walk, to give them a try!
As always, feel free to share your thoughts and experiences. I love to hear what you all have to say!
xoxo,
K

I love both these colors and love how you used the accent nail, really cool. The Scene stealer is a perfect name for this Grey color. A perfect Grey and love how it shows up on each nail. Beautiful and gorgeous!
Love,
George :)
I really love the underground purple, Very pretty =)
Thanks, guys! I was really so pleasantly surprised by both the quality of these polishes and the awesomeness of the colors.
Underground Purple is really pretty. I love the shimmer in it!
Wow these are actually really nice :)
Great polishes!
Thanks, ladies! Unfortunately, they chipped on a few nails within 2 days, after I top coated, but I still think the colors are awesome.
