FingerPaints Picnic in the Park

*PRESS SAMPLES*

Hello spring! (Allegedly. As I type this, snow is falling here in New York.  But, I digress.)

Today, I'd like to share the new Picnic in the Park collection from FingerPaints.  First up, some pics!

Two coats each of One in a Melon, Frosty Lemonade and Sweet Spring

Two coats each of Grassy Knoll, Frosty Lemonade and Sweet Spring. Frosty Lemonade topped with one coat of Picnic Blanket. Sweet Spring topped with one coat of You're So Antsy.

I'm going to cut to the chase (as I am wont to do), I dug five out of six of these polishes. The creams, though not fully opaque in two coats, were pretty and applied reasonably easily. The standout, for sure, is One in a Melon. I honestly could have gotten away with just one coat, score! I also really liked You're So Antsy and I didn't necessarily expect to.  I'm not a fan of glitters, even less a fan of chunky shaped ones but because the large glitter was sparse and the tiny glitter plentiful, this topper totally worked for me. This leads me to Picnic Blanket.  As you can guess by my previous statements, I didn't expect too much from this and I wasn't thrilled. The large chunks were hard to place and it ended up a bit gloppy. But, overall, five out of six is pretty great, no?

You can find these polishes and SOOOO many more on the new Nail Studio Wall at Sally Beauty Supply stores.  Don't get overwhelmed by the colorful prettiness!

SinfulColors Toppers - March 2015

*PRESS SAMPLE*

Hi, friends! Today I'd like to share some new toppers from SinfulColors. (Hint...I...LOVE...THEM!!!)

From thumb to pinky: Zest of Times, Ring the Belini, Sheer Flight, Prized Plume and Flight To See (two coats of each)

SinfulColors categorizes the first two colors as part of their "CITRUSTWIST" collection and the latter three as "OPALESCENT" and hot damn, I love every last one. While they are not opaque in two coats, I don't think they're meant to be. These were designed to be sheer topcoats, at least as far as I can tell. However, a huge plus, I would TOTALLY rock these shades by themselves. They are absolutely gorgeous, applied like a dream and are perfect for one of my signature looks, a rainbow skittle mani. I truly can't tell you how much I love these!

You can always check out SinfulColors on social media.
If you pick up any of these shades, do let me know your thoughts!
