Zoya Delight Collection - Spring 2015

*PRESS SAMPLE*

Hi, friends! Today, I'd like to share the new Delight collection from Zoya. It is definitely a mixed bag for me. Here's a peek!
From left to right, two coats each of Zoya Eden, Tiana, Lillian
From left to right, two coats each of Zoya Daisy, Rayne, Leslie

When this collection arrived, I was overjoyed. I'm a huge fan of skittle manis, especially with fun spring colors. However, I was a bit disappointed with the creams in this collection, Eden, Tiana and Lillian. I hope you can tell from my pic that each was a bit patchy even after two coats. Of the three, Eden provided the closest thing to opacity in two coats and is therefore my favorite. Plus, I can't lie, this polish had me by name alone as I was a devoted fan of the soap opera, Santa Barbara, for almost its entire run and heroine Eden Capwell Castillo remains one of my all-time favorite television characters.

However, as let down as I was by the creams is as THRILLED as I was by the remaining three polishes in the collection, Daisy, Rayne and Leslie. While these were not completely opaque in two coats either, it was fine by me. The gorgeous iridescent shimmer in each more than makes up for it and I suspect that these would be FABULOUS toppers as well.  Love, love, LOVE them!

If you check out this collection, I'd love to hear your thoughts!  They may be purchased at zoya.com for $9 each.

Zoya Naturel Satins Collection

*PRESS SAMPLES*

Today, I'm going to share Zoya's new Naturel Satins collection.  Here's a hint, I..LOVE...IT!!  Okay, the pics!
Two coats each: Sage, Tove, Brittany

Two coats each: Rowan, Leah, Ana

This collection is SO unique! It's not shiny, it's not matte, it falls right smack in between. So, the finish is, well, satin-y! As you might expect, my favorites are Sage and Tove (I'm always a sucker for greens and blues). However, what really surprised me was how much I liked the three neutrals, Rowan, Leah and Ana.  I'm very fair-skinned, very cool-toned, so generally, neutrals don't do much for me. But, for some reason I can't explain, I actually liked how all six of these polishes worked for my skin tone. A very pleasant surprise, to say the least!

So, overall, this entire collection is a winner to me.  If you would like to check them out, head on over to Zoya where they sell for $9.00 each.

SinfulColors Flirt With Hearts for Valentine's 2015

*PRESS SAMPLE*

Hello, lovelies! Today I'd like to share four polishes from SinfulColors Valentine's 2015 collection, Flirt With Hearts. Let me get right to the pic!
From left to right: two coats each of Dream On, 24/7, Daredevil, Love Sprinkles

Dream On was very interesting. It has an almost semi-matte finish. Definitely not full-on matte but not shiny like a typical cream polish. I really dug it and it was opaque in two easy coats.  24/7 was also pretty creamy and applied easily but was shinier. Daredevil had a hint of iridescent shimmer and was a really fun girly pink. Lastly, Love Sprinkles. Typically, I'm not a fan of chunky glitters or funky shaped glitters but this actually applied fairly well. It was challenging to place the hearts, as I expected, but worth the effort.
